50g chestnut kernels, 100g polished rice, 1 tablespoon (15g) rock sugar

How to make chestnut rock sugar porridge

First blanch the chestnut kernels in boiling water for 2 minutes, then remove and drain.

Chop the blanched chestnut kernels with a knife.

Wash the japonica rice, put it into the pot together with the chopped chestnut kernels, add 1000ml of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat.
