Mint porridge knowledge introduction

Baidu says that mint, also known as mint and peppermint, is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Lamiaceae family that prefers a warm and humid environment. Mint is one of the three major spices in the world and is known as the "fragrance of Asia."

Medicinal value of mint: Mint is used as medicine with the whole plant, and it can also be eaten. In medicine, it is widely used in medicines such as wind-removing, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipruritic, such as cooling oil and rheumatism oil. "Compendium of Materia Medica" believes that mint is spicy, cool in nature, and non-toxic. Long-term cooking and eating it raw or cooked can remove evil toxins, eliminate fatigue, relieve fatigue, make people's breath fragrant, and can also treat coughs, sputum and various colds.

I came here because it can cure cough. I have been coughing for almost a month and I don't plan to take medicine. I took rock sugar and steamed pear with Fritillaria cirrhosa for a few days and it got a little better. I took loquat for a few days and it got better. Then I saw the mint planted at home was growing green and lush, so I wanted to do something with it. After consulting a Chinese doctor and Baidu, I decided to cook porridge with it. After trying it, I think it tastes pretty good. As for the efficacy, I have to eat it for two or three days to know:)

There is a legend about mint: Pluto, the god of the underworld, fell in love with the beautiful sea elf Mentha. The two were in love but were caught by Pluto's wife Persifon. The jealous Persifon pushed her to the ground and trampled on her. Pluto couldn't bear it, so he turned Mentha into mint. The more it was trampled, the more charming its fragrance would be. This is the origin of the name of mint (Mentha). As long as people smell the refreshing aroma of mint, they will think of mint love that will never disappear. According to legend, at Greek weddings, young brides will use mint and verbena to weave headdresses in the hope of having a lifelong unforgettable beautiful memory. Mint represents love that never fades!
