1. Dispel wind and activate collaterals, strengthen tendons and bones

Wild hazel mushroom is a traditional Chinese medicinal material with the functions of dispelling wind, activating blood circulation, and strengthening tendons and bones.

2. Enhance immunity

Wild hazel mushrooms are often used to treat epilepsy, back and leg pain, rickets, caries, prevent vision loss, night blindness, dry skin; and enhance resistance to respiratory and digestive tract infectious diseases.

3. Sedation, anticonvulsant and hypoxia tolerance

Wild hazel mushroom has sedative, anticonvulsant effects and the ability to tolerate hypoxia, and has pharmacological effects similar to those of Gastrodia elata. It is widely used in the prevention and health care of dizziness, headache, neurasthenia, insomnia, hypertension, coronary heart disease and cerebral arteriosclerosis. Regular consumption can replenish qi, prevent hunger, improve intelligence and make you happy, and prolong your life.

Wild hazel mushroom recipe tutorial

Method 1

1. After the initial processing of the tender rooster, remove the head and buttocks, wash and drain, and chop into small pieces (the traditional Northeast method uses larger and rougher chicken pieces);

2. Remove impurities and roots from the hazel mushrooms, wash them with clean water, soak them in warm water for 30 minutes, drain and set aside. Filter the water used to soak the hazel mushrooms to remove impurities and set aside.

3. Heat up a wok, add 2 tablespoons of oil, and when the oil is 60% hot (slightly smoking), add the chicken and stir-fry until the chicken changes color and the water is dried up;

4. Add onion, ginger, aniseed, and dried red pepper and stir-fry until fragrant;

5. Add hazel mushrooms and stir-fry evenly;

6. Add soy sauce, sugar and cooking wine, stir well to color, add the water used to soak the hazel mushrooms and boiling water (just enough to cover the chicken) and bring to a boil;

7. Cover and simmer on medium heat for about 30 minutes, until the chicken is tender and the soup is thickened (check it carefully during the process to prevent the chicken from sticking to the pan). Finally, season with salt and serve.

Fried pork slices with hazel mushroom

Main ingredients: 200 grams of soaked hazel mushrooms and 200 grams of pork belly.

Seasoning: lard, salt, soy sauce, starch, five-spice powder, chopped green onion, minced ginger, garlic, MSG, and broth.

Preparation method:

1. Cut the pork belly into thin slices and tear the large pieces of hazel mushrooms into small pieces.

2. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped green onion, minced ginger and garlic slices, add meat slices and five-spice powder and stir-fry, then add hazel mushrooms, soy sauce and salt and stir-fry again, add appropriate amount of broth, adjust the taste, stir-fry until cooked, add MSG, thicken with water starch, drizzle with oil, serve.
