How to eat rambutan without eating the core skin How to remove the core membrane of rambutan

Rambutan is a common fruit in tropical Southeast Asia. It is small in size, but has a lot of fine red spots on the surface. After removing the skin, the flesh inside is mostly white. Its flesh is tender, juicy, sweet and has high nutritional value. However, there are some kernels between the flesh and the core of rambutan, which are harmful to the human body. You must remove them when eating rambutan, otherwise it will endanger human health.

How to eat rambutan without getting the core or skin

1. When eating rambutan, first remove the outer layer of skin with red hair, then you can get its white flesh, then peel off the white flesh with your hands, you can see the core inside. After removing the core with your hands, use your hands to clean off the core skin stuck to the flesh, then the rambutan flesh you get can be eaten directly.

2. After the rambutan is cooked, the core skin will not stick to it when eaten. As we all know, this kind of fruit has a thin film at the contact point between the flesh and the core, which is difficult to remove, but it cannot be eaten. So you can put the rambutan flesh in water and boil it. After boiling, cook for another 3 to 5 minutes. At this time, you can find that the nuclear membrane inside it has been naturally separated from the flesh. You can take out the clean flesh and eat it.

How to remove the nuclear membrane of rambutan

1. To remove the core of rambutan, you can soak it in light salt water, but before soaking, you must remove the red fuzzy skin on the surface, then take out the flesh inside and cut it in half from the middle, remove the core and then soak it again, otherwise its nuclear membrane will hardly come into contact with the salt water and cannot be automatically peeled off from the flesh.

2. The nuclear membrane of rambutan can also be torn off directly by hand. This method is especially suitable for those rambutans that are fully ripe. After peeling such rambutan, you will find that the flesh is relatively soft. You can remove the core with a gentle squeeze of your hands. At this time, separate the flesh to expose the nuclear membrane inside, tear open one end with your hand, and slowly apply force to remove it all.

3. The nuclear membrane of rambutan can also be removed with a fruit knife, but this method is only suitable for rambutan with harder flesh. After removing the core, the nuclear membrane can be exposed and can be directly scraped off with a fruit knife. After scraping, clean and complete flesh can be obtained.
