After washing the kumquats, dry the surface moisture, use a fruit knife to make a few cuts on its peel, put an appropriate amount of white sugar in a large bowl, then roll the kumquats with the cuts in the sugar for a week to allow the surface to be covered with sufficient white sugar, then put them directly into a clean glass bottle and seal them for marination.
