How to make mulberry dry wine How to make mulberry dry wine

Many people like to make mulberry wine at home, but the raw materials they use are mostly fresh mulberries. However, fresh mulberries are very seasonal and only available in large quantities in summer. When you want to make mulberry wine, you can't find the raw materials at all. So some people want to use those dried mulberries to make wine, but they don't know how to do it. Today, I will introduce some knowledge in this regard.

Preparation method of mulberry dry wine

Method 1

1. When using dried mulberries to make wine, you need to first wash the prepared dried mulberries with clean water, then add an appropriate amount of corn starch, mix well and soak in an appropriate amount of clean water. After more than ten minutes, take out the dried mulberries and rinse them with clean water several times. This will thoroughly clean the dirt on the surface of the dried mulberries.

2. After the mulberries are dry-cleaned, they should be placed in a cool and ventilated place to dry the moisture on the surface. Then put them directly into a sterilized clean glass bottle and add white wine with an alcohol content of more than 50%. The ratio of mulberries to white wine should be about 3:5. If rice wine is used to make mulberry wine, the ratio between them should be 2:1.

3. After adding the white wine into the glass bottle, seal the bottle mouth and store it in a cool and ventilated place. After 30 to 40 days, the mulberry wine inside will be ready. Take it out and filter the liquid back into the bottle and continue fermenting for a while. This will make the finished mulberry wine taste better.

Method 2

1. There is another way to soak dried mulberries in wine. When soaking, you need to clean the dried mulberries in advance, and then steam them in a steamer. During the steaming process, the dried mulberries will absorb water and become soft. After steaming, take them out to cool down, and then mash them into a paste.

2. Prepare half the weight of dried mulberries, rock sugar, 3 to 5 grams of yeast and an appropriate amount of purified water. Put the mashed mulberry paste into a clean large glass bottle, add the prepared rock sugar, and finally add yeast and purified water. Use clean chopsticks to mix them evenly, seal the bottle mouth, and put it in a warm area indoors for fermentation. After two months, the dried mulberries inside will be completely fermented. After opening the bottle cap, you can smell the rich aroma of wine. Then take them out and filter them. The liquid obtained is mulberry wine that can be drunk directly.
