Steps of making arrowhead mushroom

Method 1

1. Cut the pork belly into small pieces for later use;

2. Peel and clean the water chestnuts, cut into dices or cut into cubes or half if you like.

3. Turn on the fire and wait for the pot to heat up, pour in peanut oil and heat it up, add scallion and ginger slices to release the aroma, then add the meat and stir-fry until the oil comes out. When the meat changes color, add soy sauce, cooking wine and a little water, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for about 1 hour;

4. Finally, add the water chestnuts and sugar and bring to a boil. Simmer until soft and serve.

1: There seems to be very few arrowhead mushrooms in the north. Now is the season for arrowhead mushrooms to be on the market here. Arrowhead mushrooms grow in water. Li Shizhen recorded in Compendium of Materia Medica that one arrowhead mushroom has 12 seeds, which means that one arrowhead mushroom has 12 fruits; in fact, there are as many as 15 arrowhead mushrooms, and no less than 6. Arrowhead mushrooms can not only be used as vegetables, but also have medicinal functions. Cut fresh arrowhead mushrooms into pieces, add appropriate amount of rock sugar and soybean oil to boil, and take it before going to bed to treat hemoptysis caused by tuberculosis. In addition, mash the arrowhead mushrooms and mix them with ginger juice, and apply them to swollen and painful skin, which has the effect of anti-inflammatory, swelling reduction and analgesia.
