Durian types and nutritional value

Durian types and nutritional value

Durian is the king of fruits, but have you ever paid attention to its nutritional value? What are they?

Durian is the king of fruits

Although it smells stinky, it tastes very fragrant and sweet, and its nutritional value is also very high. It is a very suitable fruit for our expectant mothers and babies. So what are the nutritional values of durian? Let's learn that the durian ripens in June every year. The production area is not our China, because durian is a tropical fruit, and our country is in the cold temperate zone. Generally, Malaysia and Indonesia are the production areas of durian, and the Philippines is also rich in durian. The appearance of durian looks like a small hedgehog, but the flesh inside is very soft and sweet. The main component of durian is protein, which has a good tonic effect on our human body. Except for patients with diabetes and heart disease who cannot eat durian, other people can eat durian. Durian is not picked, but falls off after natural maturity. If durian is picked forcibly, not only will the taste be affected, but the fruit tree will also be harmed. The naturally mature durian will fall at night or in the early morning.

Durian types and nutritional content

For example: there are hundreds of kinds of golden pillow, blue ni, long handle, and night cover. We can't list them one by one. The above four are common. Durian contains vitamin A and vitamin B, and the content of vitamin C is the highest. Vitamins are essential nutrients for our body. If we lack vitamins in our body, it will affect normal growth and development and physiological functions. At the same time, resistance will also decrease, and it is easy to get sick. Durian also contains high calories and sugar, which is why diabetics should not eat durian. The mineral content in durian is also very high, such as potassium and calcium. I don't need to say much about the role of calcium. I believe everyone will understand that calcium deficiency will affect normal health for both expectant mothers and babies. Durian is a hot food. If expectant mothers or babies have a weak constitution when they catch a cold, they should not eat durian. The juice of durian is easy to block the throat. If you eat too much durian, it is easy to cause constipation. So although durian is good, it is not easy to eat too much.

Buying Tips

When buying durian, you must ask about the variety. Many merchants will mix genuine ones with fake ones and buy green durian or long handle ones as golden pillows, which will infringe on the interests of expectant mothers. And when buying durian, you must buy ripe ones, because the origin of durian is not in China. Merchants will pick unripe durian in advance and ship them to China. The durian will be artificially ripened when it arrives in China. In fact, such durian does not taste good. Only naturally ripe durian tastes the best.

The above are some suggestions I have given on the nutritional value of durian. I hope you can learn and adopt them.
