1 can of coconut milk, 1 dragon fruit, 1/2 cup of sago, 10 grams of gardenia

Steps to make dragon fruit sago

1. Prepare the ingredients: dragon fruit, sago, coconut milk, gardenia (available at Chinese medicine stores)

2. Wash the gardenia

3. Crush the gardenia and add appropriate amount of water and boil for 15 minutes

4. Drain the gardenia water, remove the residue and clean the pot

5. Pour the gardenia water back into the pot and bring it to a boil. Pour the tapioca pearls (without pre-soaking in water) into the pot and stir while cooking. Turn off the heat when only a little white core of the tapioca pearls remains.

6. Cover the pot and simmer until the tapioca pearls are completely transparent.

7. Prepare a basin of water, put a sieve on it, pour the tapioca pearls into the sieve and rinse them with water. Rinse them several times so that the tapioca pearls will be slippery.

8. The yellow tapioca pearls are crystal clear and cute.

9. Wash the dragon fruit and cut it in half at 1/4.

10. Use a spoon to gently scoop out the flesh (you can use a ball scoop to make it into a ball shape), leaving the shell intact for later use.

11. Pour the coconut milk into the pot and heat it, then pour the tapioca pearls and dragon fruit pulp into the pot and bring to a boil.

12. When the fruit has cooled to a certain temperature, remove from the water and put it back into the original shell.
