How to make autumn pear paste

1. Wash and peel the pears one by one

2. Use a puree grinder to grind the pear flesh into fine puree.

3. Take a bowl, put a piece of cage cloth (or gauze) on it, and put the pear meat puree on the cage cloth.

4. Lift the four corners and squeeze out all the pear juice.

5. Break the rock sugar into pieces and slice the ginger for later use.

6. Remove the pits from the red dates and slice them

7. Pour into the pot, add sliced ​​jujube meat, ginger, rock sugar, Sichuan Fritillary powder and licorice

8. After boiling over medium heat, turn to low heat and simmer until it becomes very thick and then turn off the heat

9. When it is naturally dried to the same temperature as your hand, filter out the boiled pear juice with a strainer and add honey to mix well.

10. Put it into a bottle sterilized with hot water and store it in the refrigerator. When drinking, mix it with warm water.

1. Wash the dried red dates, cut them in half and remove the cores. Peel the ginger and cut it into thin strips. Peel the pears, place a grater on the pot, and grate the pears into pear puree and pear juice.

2. Put the pitted red dates, shredded ginger and rock sugar into the pot together with the pear puree and pear juice.

3. Cover the pot and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes. Then use a strainer to scoop out the pear puree and press it with another spoon to squeeze out more pear juice.

4. Throw away the squeezed pear residue, red dates and shredded ginger, leaving only the pear juice in the pot. Continue to simmer over the lowest heat for about 1 hour until the pear juice thickens, then turn off the heat and let cool.

5. Add honey to the cooled pear pulp, mix well and store in a sealed jar.
