Precautions for breeding golden branches and jade leaves

1. Preparation of potting soil

When growing jade plants at home, you must pay special attention to the preparation of the potting soil. You must choose loose, fertile soil with good drainage and air permeability. The best way is to mix leaf mold and garden soil, and then add an appropriate amount of river sand. The nutrient soil prepared in this way is most conducive to the growth of jade plants.

2. Light adjustment

When growing Jade Plant, you must also pay attention to the regulation of light. Although the Jade Plant likes a sunny environment, it cannot accept direct sunlight during the hot summer weather, otherwise its fleshy leaves will be burned by the strong light. But in other seasons, be sure to place the Jade Plant in a sunny environment. Only in this way can its leaves have a slight blush, which will make it have a higher ornamental value.

3. Temperature control

The control of the temperature of the breeding environment is also something that requires special attention when breeding Jade Plant. This plant grows fastest when the outside temperature is between 15 and 25 degrees. It has poor cold resistance. The breeding temperature in winter must be controlled above ten degrees. If the ambient temperature is lower than five degrees, it will suffer frostbite.

4. Pay attention to fertilization

Many people think that the more fertilizer they apply, the better when they grow Jade Plants. In fact, that is not the case at all. When fertilizing Jade Plants, you must pay special attention. It can only be fertilized with decomposed organic fertilizer once every 20 days. If you apply too much fertilizer or the fertilizer is too concentrated, the roots will be burned, which will affect the normal growth of Jade Plants.
