How to grow the succulent plant Jade Dew? How to grow Jade Dew

Jade is a common variety of succulent plants, and it can be divided into several different types, such as ice lantern jade, thorny jade and seal jade. Although they are different types, their cultivation methods are similar. As long as you master the cultivation method of one jade, you can also grow other varieties of jade well. The following is a detailed introduction to its cultivation method, flower lovers can focus on it.

1. Growth habits

When growing the succulent plant Jade, you must understand its growth habits. This plant likes a cool semi-shaded environment. Spring and autumn are its peak growing seasons. It has strong cold and drought resistance, but it cannot be exposed to the sun in hot and humid conditions, and there should be no accumulation of water in the soil during normal cultivation.

2. Moderate light

When growing jade dew, you must give it moderate light. Although it is a green plant that likes semi-shaded environment, it is very sensitive to light. If the light is too strong, its leaves will grow poorly and turn light red. However, if it is not exposed to light for a long time, its leaves will become thin and loose, the plant shape will deteriorate, and the ornamental value will decrease. The correct way is to let it receive four to five hours of sufficient scattered light every day.

3. Suitable temperature

When growing the succulent plant Jade, you must adjust the indoor temperature. This plant prefers a cool environment of 15 to 20 degrees. After the hot summer weather, you need to increase ventilation and spray water on its leaves in time to lower the ambient temperature. After the cold winter, you can move it to a warm environment, or you can cover it with a plastic bag to keep it warm. Only in this way can the succulent plant Jade grow normally.

4. Water moderately

Succulent plants have a strong ability to store water and are drought resistant. They should not be overwatered during normal cultivation, but the soil in the pot should not be kept dry for a long time, otherwise the plants will die due to lack of water. Under normal circumstances, succulent plants can be watered once a week. In hot summer, the watering frequency can be increased. After entering the cold winter, the evaporation of water slows down, and watering can be done every half an hour.
