The efficacy and cultivation of Hibiscus sibiricum

Hibiscus sempervivum, also known as grass hibiscus, is native to the eastern United States and is a perennial herbaceous plant. The flower colors are light white, pink, dark red, etc. It blooms mostly in summer and autumn.

The efficacy and cultivation of Hibiscus sibiricum

1. The landscape value of Hibiscus sempervivum

The large-flowered hibiscus is highly adaptable, and is both cold-resistant and heat-resistant. It has low requirements for climate and soil. Especially in our capital Beijing, you can see them on the sides of the roads, in gardens or in landscape distribution areas.

2. Cultivation of Hibiscus sempervivum

How to cultivate Okra? The first step is to sow in the open field until it germinates, and then move it to the flat bed in about ten days. Okra will be affected by frost damage when it is a one-year seedling, but it will not affect its flowering next year. It will bloom in early July next year.

The biennial large-flowered hibiscus will bloom intermittently for about three months from July to October. After mid-to-late October, the flowering period gradually ends.

It should be noted that pruning should be carried out in time after each flower blooms, so as to ensure the quantity and quality of the next flowering period and ensure that they grow naturally and vigorously.

Another thing is the plant spacing. Because the three-year-old large-flowered hibiscus already has a well-developed root system, the distance between the plants must be at least 60 centimeters when dividing.
