Laver is a general term for the sea algae that grow alternately. Laver belongs to the marine red algae. The blade is composed of a layer of cells embedded in a thin layer of colloid, dark brown, red or purple. Laver can also be used as medicine to make Chinese medicine, which has the effects of resolving phlegm and softening hard masses, clearing away heat and promoting diuresis, and nourishing the kidney and heart. What can't be eaten with seaweed?

1. Foods rich in vitamin C, such as seaweed, kelp, tomatoes, and bell peppers, should not be eaten together as they will produce harmful substances.

2. Nori is also a food rich in calcium ions. When eaten with persimmons that contain too much tannic acid, insoluble complexes will be formed.

3. People with poor digestive function or spleen deficiency should not eat too much seaweed as it will cause diarrhea.

4. Patients with lobular hyperplasia of the breast and various tumors cannot eat seaweed. People with abdominal pain and loose stools cannot eat seaweed either.

5. Many fruits and other foods contain tannic acid, so try not to eat other fruits after eating seaweed to prevent the production of harmful substances.
