How to make pickled chives

Chives, also known as leek flowers, are white flower clusters that grow on the white part of chives in autumn. They are mostly picked when they are about to bloom, ground and pickled into sauce for consumption, which is very delicious. Chives are very common in our daily lives. We usually eat chives directly by frying them, or make chive boxes with eggs, which are very delicious. So here I will teach you a new way to cook chives, which is to pickle chives.

How to make pickled chives

1. Prepare the ingredients: chives, salt, ginger, chili, cooking wine, pepper, vinegar, sugar, wine, etc.

2. It is better to choose fresh and green chive flowers. Remove excess stems and leaves, wash them several times, drain the water and dry them.

3. Put the chives into a garlic mortar and crush them. A large mortar is better, and a small one can be used for multiple mortars. If you like garlic or spicy food, you can add garlic and chili peppers and crush them together.

4. Cut the cucumber into small slices, cut the apple into thick strips, or add pears, and cut the ginger into strips. Pour them into a large bowl and mix with the chives, then add salt.

5. After stirring evenly, add other seasonings, stir evenly, marinate and refrigerate, it can be eaten after 2 hours.
