Steps for making tomato sauce pasta

Steps for making tomato sauce pasta

Have you ever eaten tomato sauce pasta? I often make it at home. It is delicious and tastes very fresh. Here I will tell you the specific method:

Ingredients for tomato sauce pasta:

Half a white onion, 1 tomato, minced meat (pork or beef), 1 clove of garlic, soy sauce, salt, olive oil, white pepper, pasta.

Tomato sauce pasta recipe:

1. Chop garlic, dice white onion, dice tomatoes (peel first)

Tip: To peel a tomato, you can first blanch it in boiling water for half a minute, then pour cold water (or ice water) over it, and the skin will naturally crack and fall off.

2. Bring the water to a boil, add a small spoon of salt, add an appropriate amount of pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes. (You can buy original pasta in the imported food section of the supermarket, a pack of 500 grams). It is best not to break the pasta when adding it. Stir it at any time during the cooking process to cook it evenly and it will not stick to the pot. After cooking, remove it from the pot, drain the water and place it on a plate for later use (you can add a small amount of olive oil to mix it).

Tip: 1). One person's serving of pasta is about 75 grams. You can use your thumb and index finger to poke the pasta, with the joint of your thumb roughly overlapping the first joint of your index finger.

2). Cook until it is about 9 minutes done. A simple way to judge is to pick up a noodle and taste it (be careful of the heat!). A famous gourmet said: The best way to judge whether pasta is done is to throw the noodle toward the ceiling. If it falls after 2 minutes, it is done (as long as you don't worry about dirtying the ceiling).

3. Put olive oil in a wok (you can also buy it in the imported food section of the supermarket, the price of 250ml is about 35 yuan), heat it halfway, add minced garlic and fry until it turns golden brown. Then add diced onion and fry until soft. Then add diced tomatoes, soy sauce, salt, white pepper and other seasonings (you can also add some spicy meat sauce if you like strong flavors), stir-fry tomato sauce, add a small amount of water to boil. The cooking time depends on the viscosity you like.

Tip: How to judge whether the oil is half-hot: put your hand one foot away from the pot and just feel the heat. Don't burn it to the point where smoke comes out of the pot.

4. Pour the prepared sauce over the pasta; or pour the pasta into the wok and mix with the sauce, then serve.
