I don't know if you have ever eaten corn bowl. It is really delicious. You will definitely want to eat it a second time after eating it for the first time. Today I will tell you how to make it:

Corn is nutritious and good for removing fat, so it is natural to cook and eat more of it.

Materials

Cornmeal and bean flour

1. Mix 4 grams of corn flour and 1 gram flour with boiling water, cover with a lid and let it rest for 10 minutes; put plastic wrap in a small tea bowl, put the corn dough on it and shape it into a bowl, then turn it over.

2. Steam in a pot, add 1/4 cup of water to a rice cooker, boil the water until it is dry, and then turn on the heat preservation function. Generally, because the corn dumplings are not thick, you can steam them for up to 20 minutes.

3. While steaming, soak the snow vegetable in water to remove excess salt, squeeze out the water and cut into cubes; add some water to the pot (you can also add a little sesame oil or olive oil) and bring to a boil, add the snow vegetable, sweet corn kernels, and broad beans, stir-fry, and if the water dries up, continue to pour water into the edge of the pot and fry until cooked; (no need to add salt, the snow vegetable is salty enough)

4. Put the vegetables into the steamed corn bowl and add a cooked peanut kernel.

Tips

The edge of the corn dumplings sticks to the bottom when steaming, and it looks broken and incomplete; if you steam the edge of the bowl upwards, the finished product will look better. Apply some oil on the steamer to prevent sticking.

Corn recipe recommendation: glutinous rice and red dates rice cake

Ingredients: 2 jin of glutinous rice flour, 1 jin of golden red dates (the red dates are cooked in advance)

1. Be sure to use boiling water to mix glutinous rice flour and noodles, and stir with chopsticks while adding water

2. Then add cornmeal and stir with water.

3. Stir until the raw dough is almost invisible.

4. Let it cool down and when it is not too hot, knead it into a smooth dough. After kneading it into a dough, flatten it with your hands.

5. Pour the cooked red dates in (if you like sweetness, you can add white sugar or brown sugar)

6. Use your hands to knead the red dates and dough together until they are evenly mixed.

7.Pinch a piece of dough with your hands, the size is up to your preference. There is no strict requirement

8. Use your palm to roll the dough into a ball

9. Make it into the shape of a steamed bun just like making a steamed bun (of course, you can also make it into a pancake shape and put it on the grate, and then cut it into pieces when eating)

10. Put the finished rice cake on the grate. Be sure to put a wet cloth underneath, otherwise it will stick to the grate. I used corn husk instead of wet cloth. After the water boils, steam it in a pot for 25 minutes.

Tips

1. When kneading dough with glutinous rice flour, be sure to use boiling water, otherwise the dough will not be firm and will easily crack after being shaped.

2. Add a little cornmeal to make it more nutritious and alleviate the problem of glutinous rice flour being too sticky, making it easier to shape.

3. The addition of jujubes can make the glutinous rice cake taste sweet. If you like it sweeter, you can add white sugar or brown sugar.
