Brown spot disease of oyster mushroom

Brown spot disease of oyster mushroom

Today I will introduce to you the brown spot disease of Oyster Mushroom, which is quite good. Please collect it.

Symptoms of brown spot disease of Oyster mushroom:

The mushroom buds are damaged, and the growth and development are poor, so that the stems and buds cannot form, and they become small white mushroom blocks that shrink. The fruiting bodies are damaged, and many pinhead-sized brown spots appear on the mushroom caps. Later, the spots expand and become sunken, with grayish white in the middle. When it is humid, white mold-like substances, namely conidiophores and conidia, grow on the diseased spots. The stems are damaged, the mushroom stems become thicker and browner, and the outer tissues are peeled off. When the mushroom stems grow up, they become crooked and deformed.

Pathogen of Pleurotus ostreatus brown spot disease:

The disease is caused by infection by the fungus Verticillium spp. of the Ascomycetes. The mycelium is grayish white, and conidiophores grow from the mycelium. The conidia are attached to the top of the stalks and are oval or elliptical in shape.

Occurrence pattern of brown spot disease of Pleurotus ostreatus:

The pathogen mainly enters the mushroom house through the soil, such as the covering soil, and can also be brought into the mushroom house by mushroom flies, mites, tools and manual operations. After the disease occurs, conidia are produced and spread by water spraying, air flow and insects. High temperature and high humidity are conducive to the disease. Frequent water spraying, poor ventilation, and high humidity of the covering soil before mushroom formation usually cause the disease.

Control technology of brown spot disease of Pleurotus ostreatus

1. Agricultural prevention

(1) The culture medium is disinfected by secondary fermentation, which is beneficial to the growth of mushroom mycelium and can inhibit the growth of Verticillium.

(2) Soil covering and disinfection can be carried out by high humidity treatment at 60℃ for 1 hour.

(3) Take measures to prevent flies and mites from entering the mushroom house.

(4) Control temperature and humidity. While maintaining the normal temperature in the mushroom house, open windows for ventilation and reduce humidity. Pay attention to the soil layer, and make sure that the humidity is not too high. After watering, ventilate and reduce humidity in time.

(5) Eradicate diseased mushrooms in time. When diseased mushrooms are found, they should be dug out immediately along with the mycelium and 10 cm deep culture medium, taken out of the mushroom house or field and burned. The diseased holes should be filled with sterile soil. At the same time, all utensils should be disinfected with 4% formaldehyde to prevent bacterial infection.

2. Chemical control

(1) Spraying liquor Before the mushrooms grow out, you can use 600 times diluted 50% benomyl wettable powder to spray the soil and bed surface. In the early stage of the disease, you can spray 500 times diluted 50% carbendazim wettable powder or 600 times diluted 20% methyl thiophanate wettable powder or 600 times diluted 60% anti-mold wettable powder.

(2) Replace the diseased soil and add pesticides to prevent and control the disease. If the disease is serious, you can shovel away all the diseased soil and replace it with new disease-free soil, cover it again, and take measures to reduce the temperature and humidity in the bed. If necessary, remove all mushrooms, bury or burn the diseased mushrooms, let the soil of the mushroom bed dry for a few days, and then spray the surface of the mushroom bed with 2% formalin, and spray water after the formalin evaporates. Note: All utensils should be disinfected with 2% formalin (formaldehyde) solution; spraying formalin is prone to phytotoxicity, so be especially careful. First, the concentration
