The variety is approved as Longgao L2 and its commercial name is Baoyu Longgao L2.

This corn variety has a wide adaptability, a growth period of about 122-127 days, and requires an effective accumulated temperature of about 2450℃-2500℃ from seedling to maturity, which is suitable for planting in the first and second accumulated temperature zones of Heilongjiang Province. It has good drought and stress resistance, and is highly resistant to corn leaf blight, head smut, corn gall smut, and bacterial wilt. The ear is cylindrical, with about 18-22 rows, about 45 grains per row, and a hundred-grain weight of 35 grams. The grains are horse-tooth shaped, orange-yellow, with a bulk density of 751 grams. It is a horny grain, and the yield can reach more than 1,000 kilograms under appropriate cultivation conditions.
