These cabbages with "tumors" had multiple nodules of different sizes on their roots.

Afterwards, Chen Yongjun continued to pull out the roots of white flowers and green vegetables for reporters to see. These vegetables had the same nodules on their roots. The size and shape of the nodules were the same as those of the cabbage. The larger the vegetables grew, the larger and more numerous the nodules became.

Villager Zheng Qiongzhen said that the soil here used to be black and oily, and there was no need to manage vegetables at that time, and all kinds of vegetables grew well. Some vegetable farmers said that according to observation, the emergence of vegetables was normal, but after more than 10 days, the cabbage seedlings began to wilt, the white cauliflower leaves turned white, and the green vegetables turned yellow. The more watering, the more obvious it is. The possibility of insect pests is not high, because there are no insects on the roots of the vegetables with "tumors". Villagers suspect that the water source is related to the chemical mineral processing of the mineral processing plant.
