Material

Ingredients: 1 cup of white rice, 150 grams of rapeseed, 37 grams of dried shrimp Seasoning: 8 cups of water, 1 teaspoon of salt, a pinch of pepper

How to make rapeseed porridge

1. Wash the rice, add 8 cups of water and soak for 20 minutes, move to the stove and bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat to cook the porridge.

2. Wash and cut the rapeseed into small pieces. Wash and soak the dried shrimps, add them into the porridge and cook together. Add salt to taste. When it is cooked and soft, turn off the heat and serve. Sprinkle with pepper when eating.

Porridge notes

1. Soak the dried shrimps in cold water so that the fresh flavor will not be lost in the water. However, the water used to soak the dried shrimps contains baking soda, so do not add it to the porridge.

2. Rapeseed is relatively wide, so you may want to cut it into long strips first and then into small pieces, otherwise the leaves will easily get squeezed together.
