Ingredients for millet eight-treasure porridge

1/2 cup of millet, 2 liang of peanuts, 1 liang of dried longan, 1 liang of lotus seeds, 1 liang of mung beans, 1 liang of red beans, 1 liang of large red beans, 1 liang of coix seeds, 14 cups of water, 2 liang of rock sugar

1. Wash the peanuts, steam them in an electric rice cooker for 1 hour and take them out; soak the mung beans and coix seeds in cold water for 2 hours and take them out; soak the red beans and big red beans in cold water for 5 hours and take them out for later use.

2. Take a deep pot, add 14 cups of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat, add the ingredients in step 1 and cook for 40 minutes, then add millet and dried longan and continue cooking for 20 minutes, finally season with rock sugar.

1. Wash coix seeds, red beans, kidney beans and lotus seeds and soak them for more than 2 hours.

2. Pour water into the pot and bring it to a boil, then add the soaked ingredients. After boiling, turn to low heat and cook for 30 to 40 minutes.

3. Pour in millet and dried longan and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring frequently during this period. Then add raisins and rock sugar. It is ready to eat when the rock sugar melts.
