It contains malic acid, citric acid, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin C, carotene and other ingredients. It has the effects of promoting body fluid and moistening dryness, clearing away heat and reducing phlegm, and is especially suitable for consumption in autumn. Pears can also lower blood pressure and nourish yin and clear heat. Patients with hypertension, hepatitis and liver cirrhosis often eat pears [1].
