As the weather gets colder, people are more likely to catch a cold. How can we effectively control a cold in its early stages?

Ginger and jujube porridge

Some people are always troubled by diarrhea, constipation and colds. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, this is the result of low immunity. If you want to enhance your immunity, it is best to pay attention to your diet.

Ginger is the best "weapon" to deal with early symptoms of colds such as fever, sneezing, and sputum.

Introduction of ginger and jujube porridge

Ginger itself is a commonly used medicinal material in traditional Chinese medicine. It has the effects of removing phlegm, removing cold, replenishing qi, removing acne, and relieving asthma. Modern medical research shows that ginger contains gingerol, zingiberene, phellandrene, gingerol and other ingredients, which can reduce inflammation, dissipate heat, induce sweating, and relieve runny nose and other cold symptoms. Since ginger is spicy, many people are not used to it. When taking it, you can take ginger and jujube together.

Korean medical books such as "Dongui Bogam" and "Hanyao Jichengfang" all record that jujube has the effect of replenishing qi and producing essence. In addition, it can also treat anemia, gastrointestinal diseases, and has diuretic and blood pressure lowering effects.
