How to eat kiwi fruit and how to peel kiwi fruit

Kiwi fruit is tender, juicy and highly nutritious. Eating it has many benefits to the body. However, there are a lot of fine hairs on the surface of the kiwi fruit peel. After buying this fruit, many people don’t know how to eat it, let alone how to remove the peel. In fact, there are certain methods and techniques for eating kiwi fruit. I will write them down and share them with you later.

How to eat kiwi fruit

1. Eat fresh directly

Kiwi is a fruit that is particularly suitable for eating fresh, but before eating it, you must remove the peel. If you are afraid of the trouble of peeling, you can also use a clean fruit knife to cut the kiwi in the middle and use a clean spoon to directly scoop out the flesh inside and eat it.

2. Make jam

Kiwis can be made into jam and then eaten. When making jam with kiwis, you need to prepare 500 grams of fresh kiwis, wash them, peel them, and put them directly in a food processor and blend them into a paste. After taking them out, add an appropriate amount of white sugar and marinate for two hours. Then put them together in a stainless steel pot and cook them. After it becomes a thick sauce, turn off the heat, take it out and let it cool down to make delicious kiwi jam.

3. Make fruit wine

Making fruit wine is also the most common way to eat kiwi fruit. When making fruit wine with kiwi fruit, you need to clean and disinfect it in advance, then cut it into slices and put it directly into a large clean glass bottle, put a layer of kiwi fruit pulp, then put a layer of rock sugar, and finally seal the bottle mouth, put it in a warm environment, and ferment naturally. After the fermentation is complete, take it out and filter it. The resulting liquid is kiwi wine that can be drunk directly.

How to peel kiwi fruit

1. When peeling kiwifruit, you can use special tools, especially for those kiwifruits that are not too soft. You can use a peeling knife at home to directly peel off the skin. If the kiwifruit is ripe and the flesh is particularly soft, you can directly tear off the skin with your hands.

2. When peeling the kiwi fruit, you can also use a clean fruit knife to cut off a little bit from both ends, and then take a small stainless steel spoon and insert its handle along the kiwi fruit skin. When it is inserted to the other end, hold the kiwi fruit with your hand and gently turn the handle of the spoon. When it rotates a circle, the kiwi fruit flesh and skin will naturally separate. At this time, take out the flesh and eat it directly.
