Many people have only heard that it can be made into preserved fruits, but don’t know how to make them. Today, the editor will teach you a few tricks so that you can easily learn to make delicious preserved fruits with passion fruit peel.

How to make preserved fruit from passion fruit peel

1. When you make preserved fruits with passion fruit peels at home, the materials needed are very simple. You only need to prepare one kilogram of fresh passion fruit and 700 grams of white sugar.

2. Rinse the prepared passion fruit with clean water, scrape off the hard skin on its surface with a scraper, then use a clean fruit knife to cut the passion fruit in half from the middle, take a clean small spoon, take out all the pulp and juice inside the passion fruit, and put it in another cup.

3. Cut the passion fruit peel into strips about 1 cm wide and rinse them with clean water, so that the sugar can stick to their surface more easily. Put the processed passion fruit peel and sugar in the same bowl and mix them well with chopsticks.

4. Take a clean non-stick pan. Please note that you cannot choose an iron pan. Put the non-stick pan on the fire, heat the pan over medium heat, and then put the passion fruit peel into the pan and slowly stir-fry. Use medium or low heat throughout the process. After stir-frying until the pink soup comes out, use medium heat to reduce the juice. At this time, you will find that the passion fruit peel will slowly become transparent.

5. It is now time to continue frying. During this period of time, you should use chopsticks to constantly stir the passion fruit skin to prevent it from sticking to the pan. Keep frying until the sticky substance on the surface of the passion fruit skin has turned into white frosting. You can turn off the heat at this time, take it out and let it cool. After it cools down, it will become sweet and refreshing passion fruit preserves.

6. After the passion fruit peels are made into preserved fruits, you can eat them directly, or you can put them in a clean glass bottle and seal them for storage, so that people can take them out and eat them whenever they want. If you store them in the refrigerator, they can be kept for a long time without deteriorating.
