Homemade Orange Wine Recipe

Sweet and sour oranges can not only be eaten directly or made into juice, but also made into fruit wine for people to drink. The method of making fruit wine with them is very simple and people can usually make it at home. I will write down the specific steps of making orange wine later, and you will understand after reading it.

Orange wine making method 1

1. To make orange wine, you need to prepare two glasses of brandy and a medium-sized orange, one hundred grams of white sugar, and a sealable glass bottle.

2. Sterilize the prepared glass bottle with high temperature to remove the moisture in the bottle, then put the prepared brandy and white sugar into the bottle, then peel the orange, divide the pulp into small pieces, and cut the orange peel into pieces.

3. Put the orange pulp and peel into the brandy, cover the bottle with a lid, shake it vigorously to dissolve all the sugar in the bottle, and then store the bottle in a warm place for two weeks.

4. After the orange wine is ready, take it out and filter it with gauze. Take out the orange peel and throw it away. The resulting liquid is the homemade orange wine.

Production method 2

1. When making wine with oranges, you need to prepare 3 to 5 fresh oranges, 1500 grams of 38-degree rice wine, 500 grams of rock sugar, an appropriate amount of table salt, and a clean glass bottle.

2. Apply the prepared edible salt evenly on the surface of the orange, and rub it vigorously with your hands to remove the pectin on the surface of the orange, and then rinse it with clean water. After removing the orange peel, cut it into thin strips and cut the flesh into chunks.

3. Put the cut orange pulp and orange peel into the prepared glass bottle, add rock sugar, and then pour in the prepared rice wine. Seal the bottle mouth and shake it vigorously a few times to allow the rock sugar, orange and rice wine to fully contact. It is best to let the rock sugar dissolve as soon as possible.

4. Place the bottle in a warm environment and store it for about 20 days so that the fruit wine inside can ferment. Now take it out and filter it, and the resulting liquid is the sweet and sour refreshing orange wine.
