It can treat yin deficiency night sweats and hemoptysis; peach leaves also have insecticidal effects. Boiling them in water to wash the genitals can treat vaginal trichomoniasis; peach blossom has the effect of reducing swelling and diuresis, and can be used to treat edema ascites, dry stool, urination difficulties and beriberi and foot swelling.
