Material

1/2 cup of milk, 1 1/2 tablespoons of fructose, 1/2 box of soft tofu, 1/2 cup of cold water, 300 grams of papaya, 1/2 cup of ice

How to make papaya and tofu soup

(1) Wash and slice the papaya, remove the seeds, and cut into pieces.

(2) Place papaya cubes, milk, fructose, soft tofu (cut into small pieces), cold boiled water, ice and other ingredients into a juicer and blend into a paste. Pour the paste into a cup and drink.

Many people believe that the origin of tofu can be traced back to Liu An, the grandson of Emperor Gaozu of Han Dynasty. Liu An, also known as the King of Huainan, had a mother who loved to eat soybeans. One day, his mother was ill in bed, so the King of Huainan ordered people to grind the soybeans into powder and boil them into soup for his mother to drink. However, he was afraid that the soup would be tasteless, so he added some salt to season it. Unexpectedly, it solidified into blocks, which was the initial prototype of tofu. Since Liu An was an alchemist, when the prototype of tofu was produced, he conducted experiments with alchemists. After many studies, he finally found that gypsum or salt could solidify soybean milk into tofu, which was very delicious when used in cooking. Since then, tofu began to spread among the people.

Tofu is a food that can be used as both food and medicine. It has many functions, such as invigorating qi and replenishing deficiency. According to measurements, 100 grams of tofu generally contains 140 mg to 160 mg of calcium. Tofu is a plant food with a relatively high protein content. It contains 8 essential amino acids for the human body, as well as unsaturated fatty acids and lecithin that are lacking in animal foods. Therefore, eating tofu regularly can protect the liver, promote metabolism, increase immunity and has a detoxifying effect.

Tofu and other soy products are rich in nutrition and cheap. They can supplement the high-quality protein, lecithin, linoleic acid, vitamin B1, vitamin E, calcium, iron, etc. needed by the human body. Tofu also contains a variety of saponins, which can prevent the production of lipid peroxides, inhibit fat absorption, and promote fat decomposition. Since saponins can promote the excretion of iodine and easily cause iodine deficiency, people who often eat tofu should increase their iodine intake appropriately. Kelp is rich in iodine, so eating tofu with kelp is a very reasonable combination.
