1. Seed propagation

When cultivating Yuanbaohua, it can be propagated by sowing. The time is from late August to early September every year. The ambient temperature should be kept at around 20 degrees. After sowing, seedlings will emerge in about ten days. After the seedlings grow two to three leaves, they can be moved into pots.

2. Breeding environment

After the seedlings of Yuanbaohua are potted, they need to be placed in a cool place and replaced. After a week, they can be moved to a semi-shaded environment with good ventilation. This plant is afraid of strong light. Try not to place it under strong light during the cultivation period. Even in winter, you should avoid sunburn and spray a small amount of water on its leaves every day.

3. Water appropriately

Yuanbaohua is a plant that is afraid of both moisture and dryness. When watering, you should pay attention to alternating between dry and wet. In addition, it likes a humid environment. Normally, the air humidity should not be lower than 80%. And pay attention to the amount of watering during its growing season. Water it every 3 to 5 days. When watering, be sure to water it thoroughly, but do not let water accumulate in the middle of the flower.

4. Appropriate fertilization

Yuanbaohua is a fertilizer-loving plant, but it must not be fertilized during the cultivation period. After it enters the growth season, it should be fertilized with thin liquid fertilizer every 10 to 15 days. In addition, when fertilizing Yuanbaohua, you should also pay attention to not letting liquid fertilizer drip onto its leaves, otherwise the leaves will be injured. After it enters the flowering period, you can apply more phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, which can prolong the flowering period and make the flower color more vivid.
