Cultivation methods and precautions of jasmine

Winter jasmine can not only grow in nature, but also be made into potted plants and cultivated at home, which can beautify the environment and purify the air. But how should this kind of winter jasmine be cultivated? What should be paid attention to when cultivating winter jasmine? The following editor will talk about these issues for you.

How to grow jasmine

1. Soil and sunlight

When growing forsythia, you should choose loose, fertile, well-drained acidic soil. Alkaline soil is not conducive to the growth of forsythia. In addition, when growing forsythia, you should pay attention to the regulation of light. In spring, autumn and winter, you should place the forsythia in an environment with sufficient sunlight. After entering summer, you must move it to a semi-shaded environment with lower temperature.

2. Water and fertilizer

The supply of water and fertilizer is also very important for the cultivation of winter jasmine. It likes a warm and humid environment. It needs to be watered more before it blooms. It can be watered two to three times a week. Stop watering on rainy days. It is also necessary to water it in time after fertilizing. Winter jasmine also has high requirements for fertilizer. When planting, it is necessary to apply enough base fertilizer in the flowerpot. It is enough to fertilize once or twice a month. After entering the flowering period, the supply of phosphorus fertilizer should be increased.

Precautions for growing jasmine

If you want your jasmine to bloom during the Spring Festival, you can move it to a place between 12 and 16 o'clock two to three weeks before the Spring Festival, water it every three days, and let it receive plenty of sunlight. In addition, you should water the jasmine enough after transplanting it, and then place it in a cool place for ten minutes before moving it to a sunny environment.
