When making steamed dishes in Henan Province, you need to prepare 600 grams of fresh lettuce leaves, 150 grams of flour, three to four eggs, and an appropriate amount of sesame oil, five-spice powder, chili oil, and salt and other seasonings.

Steps for steaming vegetables

1. Wash the prepared lettuce leaves with clean water, drain the water, and then cut them into long sections about two centimeters long with a knife. Put the cut leaves into a bowl.

2. Crack the eggs and add them to the leaves, then sprinkle some flour on them and mix them evenly, making sure that there is no sticking between the leaves. After mixing evenly, shake it with your hands to make the leaves more fluffy.

3. Put the seasoned vegetable leaves into the steamer, and then steam them in the steamer. Steam them for fifteen minutes after the water boils. Take them out and add the prepared salt, sesame oil and chili peppers, mix well. If you like garlic, you can also prepare some garlic paste in advance and pour it on the steamed vegetables, and then eat them directly.
