Mushroom cultivation techniques

Shiitake mushrooms are a kind of food with particularly high nutritional value. Many people like to eat them, but have you ever learned about the techniques of growing shiitake mushrooms? Now let's take a look at how to grow shiitake mushrooms.

Mushroom cultivation techniques

1. Shiitake mushrooms have been cultivated in my country for more than 800 years. People started to cultivate them in the Song Dynasty. Later, they were spread and cultivated in large quantities until now. Now let us learn about the cultivation methods of shiitake mushrooms.

2. Shiitake mushrooms grow in some humid environments, and the most suitable temperature is 22-26℃. Mycelium is best grown in an environment of 24-27℃, because many shiitake mushrooms grow on wood, and can also grow in an environment below 20 degrees or above 40 degrees. Shiitake mushroom cultivation has high requirements for water, requiring 60-70% humidity environment to grow. It is not easy to survive when inoculated under 32% moisture conditions. The air humidity is preferably 80-90%. The cultivation of shiitake mushrooms also has high requirements for air. There must be enough fresh air, which is a condition for the growth of shiitake mushrooms. If it is in some closed environments with poor air, it is easy to grow some deformed long-handled mushrooms or big-footed mushrooms.

3. Shiitake mushroom cultivation requires light. It needs illumination, which is one of the necessary conditions for shiitake mushrooms. However, the growth of mycelium does not require light. The pH value required for shiitake mushroom growth is between 5-6.
