Eating more loofah in autumn can whiten and moisturize your skin

If you want to whiten and moisturize your skin and make it more delicate, you should eat more loofah.

Core Tips:

Luffa is sweet and cool in nature. It enters the liver and stomach meridians and has the effects of clearing away heat and cooling blood, detoxifying and relieving constipation, dispelling wind and resolving phlegm, moisturizing and beautifying, dredging meridians, promoting blood circulation, promoting lactation, and regulating irregular menstruation. In addition, luffa can also treat sinusitis, pharyngitis, cold cough, allergic asthma and other symptoms.

Luffa contains B vitamins that prevent skin aging and vitamin C that whitens the skin. It can protect the skin, eliminate plaques, and make the skin white and tender. It is a rare beauty product, so luffa juice is known as "beauty water". Luffa has a high content of vitamin C, 8 mg per 100 grams, which can be used to prevent scurvy and various vitamin C deficiencies. In addition, the following are some other dietary prescriptions for luffa.

Loofah diet recipe:

(1) For sinusitis: roast dried loofah in an iron pan, grind into fine powder. Take 6 grams each time, with warm water on an empty stomach in the morning, for 8 consecutive days.

(2) For pharyngitis: Wash and mash the tender loofah, squeeze out the juice, add appropriate amount of sugar, and take 1 spoonful 3 times a day.

(3) Treating cough caused by wind and cold: Dry the loofah, grind it into fine powder, and make it into pills with honey. Take 9 grams each time, 3 times a day.

(4) For the treatment of bacillary dysentery: The roots, stems and leaves of loofah can be used. Wash them, mash them and squeeze out the juice. Take 2 spoons each time, 3 times a day.

(5) Treatment of insufficient milk: Method 1: 60g of loofah and 1 pig's trotter, stewed and eaten as a dish. Method 2: 1 old loofah, dried in the shade, roasted to preserve its properties, ground into powder, taken with rice wine, 9g each time.

(6) Treatment of allergic asthma: Method 1: Wash the loofah vines, mash them and squeeze out the juice. Take 1 spoon each time, 3 times a day. Method 2: Cut 2 small loofahs, put them in a casserole and cook until they are soft. Take 150 ml of the concentrated juice, 3 times a day.

(7) Treatment of bloody stool caused by hemorrhoids: Method 1: 30g of loofah flowers and 15g of Sophora japonica flowers, decoct in water and take once a day. Method 2: Cut 250g of fresh loofah into pieces, slice 200g of lean pork, add appropriate amount of water and cook together, season with salt after cooking.

(8) Treatment of neuralgia: Warm the sponge gourd juice and drink it. The dosage depends on the symptoms, about 100 ml per day. Alternatively, you can mash the sponge gourd leaves and stems and squeeze out the juice to apply to the affected area, which is also effective.

(9) To treat skin boils: Mash one fresh loofah and apply it to the affected area. Then bandage it with gauze and change the dressing once a day.

(10) To treat excessive foot sweating: burn old loofah into charcoal, grind it into fine powder, sprinkle it in your shoes, and wear them barefoot for half a month.
