It is a relatively early maturing variety, matures 15 days earlier than the Taiwanese variety "75-1", has a yield 12.6% higher, and has superior quality. The beans are highly sweet and have good palatability. They become crispy when roasted and have a good taste. As an early spring vegetable, it is an ideal economic crop for intercropping in large and medium greenhouses, small ring greenhouses, 1-2 year old new orchards, and other multi-maturing crops. Edamame【Sowing period】

Edamame is a warm-loving vegetable. Generally, the best time for open-field sowing is early April, and fresh pods can be harvested and put on the market in late June. If mulch film and small ring greenhouse cultivation is used, sowing is done in late February, mulch film cultivation is done in mid-to-late March, and early spring large and medium greenhouse cultivation can be advanced to mid-to-late February, and can be put on the market in early May, with an output value of about 2,000-3,000 yuan per mu.

Edamame [reasonable density planting to ensure full seedlings]

The height of the "Spring Green" variety is about 50-55 cm, the general density is about 20,000 plants per mu, the row spacing is 40-50 cm, the plant spacing is about 15 cm, 2-3 seeds are sown in each hole, and the seeds are dried for 1-2 days before sowing. If sowing in furrows, the seeds should not be planted too deep, 2-3 cm is appropriate, and about 7.5 kg of seeds are used per mu.

Edamame [Apply sufficient basal fertilizer and appropriate topdressing]

Although edamame has the function of fixing nitrogen, proper application of fertilizer can increase the size and yield of soybeans. Apply 1,000 kg of decomposed organic fertilizer, 15-20 kg of superphosphate, or 40-50 kg of triple compound fertilizer per mu, and turn it into the soil to make a ridge. For topdressing, apply 10 kg of urea per mu during the early flowering period, or spray potassium dihydrogen phosphate on the leaves.

Edamame [Strengthen management and dredge the ditch system]

1. Soybean is a dryland crop, so a good ditch system must be dug, with three ditches in place, and the water must dry up when the rain stops, leaving no water in the ditch.

2. Thin out, cultivate and weed in time: Thin out the edamame seedlings immediately after they emerge; to prevent crowding, cultivate and weed 2-3 times before the plants are closed. Cultivate and build up the soil when the seedlings are about 30 cm to promote root growth.

3. Topdressing and irrigation: In the early stage of seedlings, before nodules are formed on the roots, topdressing fertilizer should be applied in time. 100-150 kg of wood ash and 10-20 kg of superphosphate can be applied per mu one week after seedlings. Spray 0.3% ammonium molybdate mixture at the beginning of flowering to reduce flower pod shedding.

Edamame is drought-tolerant and afraid of waterlogging, so it generally does not need to be watered. However, it cannot lack water during the flowering, pod-setting and seed-forming stages, so drainage ditches can be used to irrigate 1-2 times.

4. Timely pinching: In the late growth period of edamame, pods are often not able to mature in time. Timely pinching can prevent excessive growth and make the pods mature uniformly, which is conducive to centralized harvesting and increased yield. After sowing, you can use 86% sethoxydim emulsifiable concentrate mixed with 35 kg of water at a rate of 100 ml per mu. After sowing and covering the soil, seal the ground soil. 【Harvest】
