Prevention and treatment methods of fungus cowhide disease

Prevention and treatment methods of fungus cowhide disease

The most annoying thing in the process of growing fungus is encountering various diseases. This is the most troublesome time. Today I will tell you about the prevention and treatment methods of fungus cowhide disease:

1. Raw material formula:

Boron 2g, germanium 2.5g, molybdenum 2g, zinc 3g, iron 1.5g, manganese 2.5g, penetrant 30g, stabilizer 20g, activator 10g, spreader 10g, bacteria killer (70% releasable powder) 50g, high temperature distilled water with a pressure of more than 110% 10kg.

2. Preparation method:

After the above raw materials are fully crushed, put into distilled water, shake well and seal for 24 hours to obtain trace element nutrient solution.

3. Usage:

(1) After the mycelium in the fungus material bag is fully grown, it can be used from January to July and during the fungus growth period.

(2) Use your hands to press the cowhide bag on the fungus material bag to make it concave.

(3) Shake the nutrient solution and inject it onto the surface of the cowhide bag with a syringe. 3 to 15 ml is injected into cowhide bags with a diameter of 1 to 10 cm. Early detection and early use will have better results and can be used on a large area. 500 grams of nutrient solution can be injected into 60 to 80 bags. Do not spray water for 2 days after injection.

(4) The injected material bags should be put on the shelves immediately. After 3 to 5 days, the cowhide bags will stop spreading and die. At the same time, the various nutrients in the nutrient solution can promote the good growth of mycelium, and the yield-increasing effect is significant.

(5) After the nutrient solution is injected, it is forbidden to pile up or mix sick bags with good bags. They should be put on the shelf immediately. Mixing sick bags with good bags will cause cross infection of bacteria and make the good bags sick.

(6) If leather bags are found in bags that are not fully grown with mycelium, it is recommended to turn the bags over. If the bags are not turned over, multi-layer stacking is prohibited after injection.

4. Notes:

(1) This nutrient solution must not be diluted or used with other drugs.

(2) Sedimentation is normal and needs to be shaken before use.

(3) It can be stored for 2 years at room temperature and away from light. It is forbidden to use by humans, livestock and poultry.

(4) If individual cowhide bags continue to spread 10 days after injection, another injection is required.

(5) Identify the effect of the nutrient solution. Place the bag injected with the nutrient solution on the shelf. The bacteria will die in 5 days at room temperature and will not spread. Place the bag without nutrient solution on the shelf. Under the same conditions, the bacteria will continue to spread.

In addition, when the majority of fungus growers find cowhide bags, they often use a knife to cut off the plastic film on the bags, then cut off the diseased culture medium with a knife, and finally sprinkle quicklime or apply lime slurry. This is unscientific and undesirable. Because the bacteria in the cowhide bags can spread to other good bags through airflow or breeze, causing other good bags to become diseased. It is recommended that fungus growers who have the conditions should handle the diseased bags with care and move them to the isolation area for processing to minimize the spread of bacteria.
