Prevention and Control of the Fungus Pest of Coprinus comatus

Prevention and Control of the Fungus Pest of Coprinus comatus

The most common fungus of Coprinus comatus is the chicken claw fungus. Today, I will tell you about the prevention and treatment of the chicken claw fungus of Coprinus comatus:

1. Treatment of culture medium.

Before fermentation, all ingredients of the culture medium must be crushed, ground and dried for 3-4 days. In particular, some formulas contain livestock and poultry manure, which cannot be used without sufficient sun exposure. When building a pile, first mix all the ingredients needed evenly, and add water to adjust the moisture content to 65-70%. When building a pile, the width of the pile is 12-15 meters, the height is 0.8-1.0 meters, and it naturally extends longitudinally in a trapezoidal shape. At intervals of 30-40 cm, use a wooden stick with a diameter of 3-4 cm to make two rows of holes in parallel at the waist of the pile. When the center temperature of the material rises to above 60-65℃, start timing, turn the pile after 24 hours, and when the center temperature of the material rises to above 60-65℃ again after re-piling, the fermentation ends after another 24 hours, and then the moisture content of the culture medium should be readjusted to 60-65%.

pH 7.5~8.

2. Crop rotation should be implemented in the cultivation site.

After the harvest of Coprinus comatus, the bed surface should be cleaned thoroughly. If conditions permit, crop rotation can be implemented for more than one year to reduce the damage caused by pests and diseases. When using a solar greenhouse to cultivate Coprinus comatus, a crop of corn or soybeans can be planted in the summer. If Coprinus comatus is planted in the spring crop and then in the autumn crop, it will often cause a large outbreak of Coprinus comatus.

3. Soil covering treatment must be strict.

Coprinus comatus will not produce mushrooms without covering soil. For covering soil, choose soil far away from the cultivation site where Coprinus comatus has never been planted, preferably deep soil below 20 cm. The covering soil should be sieved and 1% lime powder should be added. Spray 5-10 kg of 1000 times formaldehyde solution on every 100 kg to pile it up, and press it tightly with plastic film for 24 hours before application.

4. Take timely prevention and treatment measures for Gallus gallus domesticus.

Once the "chicken's feet fungus" occurs on the bed surface, it is necessary to promptly remove the culture medium underneath, put it in a plastic bag and take it out of the shed and bury it deep. Sprinkle quicklime powder around the "chicken's feet fungus". For chemical control, spray 700-800 times of 50% carbendazim or 500-700 times of 75% thiophanate-methyl.
