New Technology of Cultivating Coprinus comatus in Shed

Now many people are aware of the prospects of Coprinus comatus. Because Coprinus comatus is delicious and has high nutritional value, many people adopt greenhouse cultivation of Coprinus comatus. Today, I will introduce the greenhouse cultivation technology of Coprinus comatus to you:

1

When using a vegetable greenhouse to grow Coprinus comatus, the greenhouse must first be shaded. In early autumn, the greenhouse surface should be covered with straw curtains, and in late autumn or winter, a second layer of sunshade film can be used. To prevent the straw curtains from being blown away by strong winds, it is best to cover the surface of the straw curtains with another layer of sunshade film. The film around the greenhouse should be able to be lifted up and put down for easy ventilation.

2. Link management

For the cultivation of Coprinus comatus in greenhouses that were previously used to grow watermelons or vegetables, insect control should be carried out once before making the bed, and dichlorvos or cypermethrin pesticides should be used for spraying. Highly toxic pesticides are strictly prohibited. The soil should be fully fined before placing the fungus bags. It is advisable to make three beds in a greenhouse, and each bed is about 90 cm wide; the depth of the pit for placing the fungus bags should not exceed 30 cm; after the pit is made, sprinkle dry loose lime for disinfection.

The suitable growth temperature of Coprinus comatus fruiting body is 8-30℃, and the most suitable temperature is 12-18℃. In the northern part of Zhejiang Province, Coprinus comatus can be grown after the end of September. Therefore, the mushroom bags of Coprinus comatus are made after mid-August, using 15 cm × 32 cm low-pressure polyethylene plastic bags. Culture medium, formula A: 90% cottonseed hulls, 45% bran, 45% corn flour, 1% gypsum; formula B: 75% sawdust, 15% bran, 8% corn flour, 1% sugar, 1% gypsum powder. According to the conventional method: mix the materials and ferment them indoors. Under the appropriate temperature, the mycelium will generally grow full of culture medium in about 40 days, and then move it into the cultivation shed to open the bag.

4. Climbing

The biggest feature of Coprinus comatus is that it does not produce fruiting bodies without covering with soil and is particularly resistant to low temperatures. The mycelium can be stored for a long time in a low temperature environment. When opening the bag, you must pay attention to the temperature conditions at the time to see if it is suitable for the formation of fruiting bodies of Coprinus comatus. Coprinus comatus can generally form fruiting bodies in about 15 days after being removed from the bag and covered with soil. For the cultivation of Coprinus comatus in vegetable greenhouses, the earliest time to release it in autumn is mid-September, and the most suitable time to release it is from mid-October to the end of November.

5. Prepare the peppers

When the bags of Coprinus comatus are full of mycelium, they can be removed from the bags and placed on the mushroom bed under suitable temperature conditions. Cover the bags with soil immediately while placing them. The soil next to the mushroom bed can be used directly as the covering material, which needs to be fully crushed and pre-wetted. The best covering material is nutrient soil. One month before covering the soil, choose a field in a pollution-free area, add manure when plowing, and crush it after natural accumulation and fermentation. Add 1% lime to adjust the water content to 25% before covering the soil.

After covering with pre-wet soil, a small arch shed is built on the mushroom bed at the same time, and a film is covered to maintain soil humidity and ventilation. Generally, the fruiting body primordium of Coprinus comatus will be formed after half a month. When the fruiting body is formed, it is required to maintain a high humidity and ventilate frequently. In terms of management, the focus is on temperature control. When the shed temperature exceeds 28℃, the main method is to reduce temperature and increase humidity. When ventilating, avoid wind blowing directly into the bed surface to avoid affecting the quality of the mushrooms; when the temperature of the mushroom shed is lower than 15℃, the main method is to increase temperature and reduce humidity. The sunshade material on the surface of the mushroom shed is removed, and a small arch shed is built in the shed to promote the normal formation of the fruiting body of Coprinus comatus. After a wave of mushrooms are harvested, the bed surface is sprayed with pesticides to eliminate insects once, and dry lime powder is sprinkled to prevent bacteria.

The most suitable harvesting period for Coprinus comatus is the mushroom bud stage, that is, the mushroom cap tightly wraps the stem, the mushroom ring has not yet loosened or has just loosened, and the mushroom body is harvested when it is 60% to 70% mature. The harvesting height of large Coprinus comatus varieties is 15 to 20 cm, and the harvesting height of ordinary varieties is 8 to 15 cm.
