How to make mixed grain Laba porridge

Ingredients for Mixed Grain Laba Porridge

50g red beans, 50g brown rice, 50g wheat kernels, 50g coix seeds, 50g millet, 30g fragrant rice, 50g red dates, 50g cornmeal, 1000g purified water. Seasoning: 50g brown sugar.

How to make mixed grain Laba porridge

1. Soak red beans, brown rice, wheat kernels and coix seeds overnight.

2. Rinse millet, fragrant rice, red dates and corn grits with water.

3. Put the above ingredients into a casserole, add appropriate amount of purified water and boil. After 10 minutes, turn to medium heat and simmer until cooked. Then add brown sugar or rock sugar to taste.

Method 2 of Mixed Grain Laba Porridge

1. Wash peanuts and coix seeds, soak them in water for 2 hours and then steam them for 1 hour; blanch chestnuts and peel them; wash lotus seeds and remove the green core; wash white fungus and ginkgo nuts; soak red beans in cold water for 5 hours, then steam them in an electric rice cooker with enough water to cover the beans for 2 hours and set aside.

●If you are trying whole grains for the first time, your stomach is more accustomed to digesting fine rice and noodles, so you should drink plenty of water after eating whole grains, or increase the amount of fragrant rice appropriately.

●Buckwheat, oats, corn, etc. can also be used in Laba porridge. Buckwheat and oats can inhibit the increase of cholesterol, while corn can delay aging.
