I usually start preparing on the first night, put the ingredients for cooking porridge, such as rice and beans, into the pot and turn off the fire, let the ingredients soak in the pot to absorb water and fully swell, and then turn on the fire again the next morning to cook, add some sweet potatoes or other easy-to-cook ingredients appropriately, and it will be ready in 20 minutes.

[Raw materials]: 80 grams of glutinous rice, 20 grams of rice, 1 sweet potato, 5 dried figs, and cold water.

How to make fig glutinous rice porridge

1. Put glutinous rice and rice in a small bowl, pour in appropriate amount of cold water to cover the surface of the ingredients, stir with chopsticks several times and pour out the water.

2. Pour cold water into the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then add the washed glutinous rice and rice.
