There are many benefits of Isatis Root Porridge. I will briefly introduce a few of them to you below. I hope you like them. Isatis root porridgeThe efficacy of Isatis root porridgeAntibacterial and antiviral effects Isatis root has an effect on many bacteria. The water extract has an inhibitory effect on Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, octa-synuclein, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi, Paratyphoid A, Shigella dysenteriae (Shigella, Freundii), Enterobacterium, etc. The acetone extract has a similar effect and is effective against hemolytic streptococci (all using agar plate method). The antibacterial effect on type A meningococci is similar to that of garlic and honeysuckle. Some people believe that the antibacterial and antiviral active ingredients of Isatis root and Isatis indigo are indigo glycosides. Experiments have shown that indigo glycosides have no antibacterial effect both in vivo and in vitro; the antiviral effect in vitro is not prominent; and it is excreted quickly in the body, so it is believed that it has no obvious physiological and antibacterial activity. Its active ingredients are yet to be studied. Anti-Leptospira Effect In the test camp, isatis root or isatis leaf at a ratio of 1:100 or above were effective in killing spirochetes. Detoxification It is reported that taking Isatis root, Coptis chinensis powder and Veratrum together (2.0g/kg each) can detoxify Veratrum and reduce mortality; if it is used after Veratrum poisoning, it will be ineffective; using Isatis root powder or Coptis chinensis powder alone will also have poor effects. Improve immune function Intraperitoneal injection of Radix Isatidis polysaccharide 50mg/kg can significantly promote the immune function of mice, as shown by: significantly increasing the spleen weight of normal mice, total white blood cell count and lymphocyte count, and significantly antagonizing the decrease in spleen index, total white blood cell count and lymphocyte count of immunosuppressed mice caused by hydrocortisone; significantly enhancing the delayed hypersensitivity reaction of normal mice and cyclophosphamide-induced immunosuppressed mice caused by dinitrochlorobenzene; enhancing the ANAE positive percentage of peripheral blood lymphocytes of normal mice, and significantly antagonizing the immunosuppressive effect caused by hydrocortisone; but Radix Isatidis polysaccharide in vitro experiments had no significant enhancement effect on the lymphatic metastasis reaction of mouse spleen cells induced by concanavalin A. In addition, Radix Isatidis polysaccharide can also significantly enhance the function of antibody-forming cells and enhance the clearance rate of intravenously injected carbon particles in mice. Anti-tumor effect Injection of 200 mg/kg of indirubin to rats with W256 solid tumors and mice with Lewis lung cancer for 6-7 consecutive days resulted in inhibition rates of 47-50% and 50-58% for rat W256 solid tumors, respectively. When the subcutaneous injection was reduced to less than 100 mg/kg per day, the inhibitory effect was not obvious. Indirubin 500 mg/kg was administered orally, and the inhibition rate for rat W256 solid tumors was 23-33%, and the inhibition rate for mouse sarcoma 180 was about 30%. Indirubin can prolong the survival time of mice with lymphatic leukemia L7212 by about 20%. In addition, the mouse spermatogonial method test proved that indirubin could not specifically inhibit B-type spermatogonia and spermatids. Effect on leukemia Preliminary pharmacological studies have shown that indigo carmine has the effect of destroying leukemia cells. From the perspective of ultrastructural morphology, under the action of indigo carmine, the degenerated and necrotic cells are mostly swollen and lytic necrosis. Experiments have found that indigo carmine can enhance the phagocytic ability of the mononuclear macrophage system of animals. The mononuclear macrophage system plays a certain role in the body's immune response, so the anti-cancer effect of indigo carmine may be related to improving the body's immune ability. |
