I believe many of you don’t quite understand what crystal grapes are, or you may think it’s a dream. What would it be like to wear crystal grapes? Let me give you a brief introduction to what crystal grapes are. Crystal GrapesCrystal grapes are trees and shrubs that grow best in climate and sunlight: too little sunlight will make them sour, and too much sunlight will make them too sweet. When budding in spring, grapes prefer temperatures between 7 and 12 degrees, with no frost or hail. When the grape branches are growing, the temperature should be between 20 and 25 degrees, neither too cold nor too hot, and with bright sunshine. In autumn, grapes begin to ripen. The ideal temperature is 20 to 25 degrees, which is cool and pleasant. It must not rain at this time. In places that are too cold, it is difficult for grape vines to survive the winter. The summer temperature in these areas is not high, and the grapes are difficult to mature. In places that are too hot, there are many diseases and pests. If the winter temperature often exceeds 10 degrees, the grape roots will continue to slowly supply nutrients to the dead branches, and the grapes will be malnourished when they sprout in the second year. Main pests and diseases and their control1. The main diseases are grape black pox, grape white rot, grape downy mildew and grape anthracnose. In recent years, the gray mold of grapes that damages flower spikes and fruits has become more serious, especially in the Yangtze River Basin. (1) Grape black pox: It harms the bunches, stalks, leaves, new shoots and tendrils, causing the berries to become smaller, and the leaves and tips to become deformed and dry. The disease is severe on European grape varieties, milder on European and American hybrid grape varieties, and basically not on American grape varieties. The pathogen overwinters in the diseased tissue as hyphae and spreads by wind and rain the following year. The disease is more serious in the Yangtze River Basin than in the Huaibei area. Prevention and control methods: Select suitable varieties according to local conditions. Raise the distribution position of branches and vines on the trellis surface, or use trellis cultivation to reduce the chance of disease. Clean the garden thoroughly during the dormant period, remove diseased branches, leaves and ears, and reduce the source of infection. Spray a mixture of 5 degrees Baume lime sulfur and 0.3% to 0.5% sodium pentachlorophenol or 10% ammonium sulfate solution during the bud expansion period to eliminate the overwintering pathogens. Spray 200-240 times half-lime Bordeaux liquid before and after flowering to protect the flower and fruit ears; in the later stage, 500 times 50% chlorothalonil can be used alternately with Bordeaux liquid. Pinch off the top and remove the side shoots in time to reduce the infection of young and tender tissues |
