Pumpkin warms the spleen and stomach, pumpkin folk recipe

In fact, eating pumpkin regularly can improve our body's immunity, improve the symptoms of autumn dryness, and turn dryness into peace. From the perspective of medicinal value, pumpkin can warm the middle and relieve asthma and reduce swelling. Eating pumpkin in moderation can effectively prevent asthma, bronchitis and other common diseases in autumn.

Eat pumpkin in moderation. If you eat pumpkin as a staple food all day, it is easy to cause its tail-carotene to accumulate in the stratum corneum of the human skin, making the skin of the nose, forehead, palms, soles, around the eyes, and around the nails appear lemon yellow. This symptom is medically called "carotene xanthoderma". Therefore, pumpkin should be eaten with other vegetables and eaten every few days.

"Compendium of Materia Medica in Southern Yunnan" states: Pumpkin is warm in nature, sweet in taste, enters the spleen and stomach meridians, can moisten the lungs and replenish qi, resolve phlegm and discharge pus, expel parasites, and cure coughs, etc. It is also believed to be able to "run across the meridians and facilitate urination."

The Compendium of Materia Medica states that pumpkin can "tonify the middle and replenish qi". Chen Xiuyuan, a famous doctor in the Qing Dynasty, said that "pumpkin is a wonderful product for replenishing blood". Eating pumpkin regularly can make bowel movements smooth and skin plump, especially for women. Chinese medicine believes that pumpkin has the effects of anti-inflammatory, analgesic, detoxification, nourishing the heart, and nourishing the lungs.
