Most of the tea tree mushrooms we see are probably grown in greenhouses. So if we want to grow them ourselves, how should we cultivate them? Today, I will tell you the key points of tea tree mushroom cultivation: 1. Agrocybe agrocybe cultivation seasonAgrocybe aegerita is a medium-temperature to high-temperature fungus, suitable for cultivation and fruiting in spring and autumn. Mushroom bags are produced from January to March or August to September, and mushrooms are produced from April to July or September to November. 2. Making Agrocybe aegerita mushroom bags(1) Formula and preparation of culture medium. The main raw materials are cottonseed hulls, broad-leaved wood chips, or wood chips from loose wood trees such as tung, willow, and poplar. If tea shell powder is added to the culture medium, it will have a good effect on promoting mycelium growth and increasing yield. Formula 1: 40% sawdust, 38% cottonseed hulls, 20% bran, 1% gypsum powder, 1% sugar, and 65% water content. Formula 2: 65% sawdust, 18% fine rice bran or bran, 15% tea shell powder, 1% sugar, 1% gypsum powder, and 65% water content. (2) Bagging, sterilization, inoculation and cultivation (the operation method is the same as that of Pleurotus eryngii). Tea tree mushrooms are usually grown in upright bags. Therefore, the plastic bag should not be too large, preferably (15 cm to 17 cm) × 35 cm. 3. Management of Agrocybe aegerita(1) Place the bags upright on a bed or on the ground, irradiate with scattered light and ventilate to induce the formation of fruiting body primordia. (2) Management of fruiting body growth and development. Remove the sealing paper and collar, straighten the plastic bag into a tube, and then cover it with newspaper (or plastic film) to keep it moist and promote mushroom growth. Spray water once or twice a day (keep the ground and newspaper moist), provide light, and induce primordium formation. When the mushroom buds grow close to the newspaper, remove the newspaper to adjust the temperature, moisturize, ventilate and manage light (the temperature should be controlled between 16 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius). Keep the relative humidity of the air within the range of 85%-90%, and moisturize by spraying water (do not spray water into the mushroom bag to avoid rotting the mushrooms). Spray water once or twice a day on sunny days, spray less or no water on cloudy or rainy days, and strengthen ventilation. When the fruiting body grows to 4 cm-5 cm, reduce the ventilation appropriately to promote the growth of the stipe and inhibit the expansion of the cap. In addition, keep scattered light in the mushroom house. 4. Harvesting of Agrocybe agrocybeAfter the mushroom buds are formed, they can be harvested 10 to 15 days later. After harvesting the first batch of mushrooms, level the surface of the culture medium, cover it with newspaper (or plastic film) and continue to spray water. After 7 to 10 days, another batch of mushrooms can grow, and generally three or four batches can be harvested. If the second batch of mushrooms is harvested and transferred to soil cultivation after the bag is removed, the water in the fungus tube can be supplemented, which can increase the yield. Generally, the yield per bag can reach 200 grams to 300 grams. |
