1. Cabbage cheese salad: Cut the cabbage into small pieces, salt it, mix it with cheese which is rich in protein but low in energy, and raisins which contain minerals, and then add olive oil which can prevent arteriosclerosis.

2. Stir-fried cabbage and tomatoes: First blanch the tomatoes in boiling water, peel and cut into pieces; wash and slice the cabbage; after the oil is heated in a pan, add the chopped green onion and stir-fry until fragrant, add the cabbage and stir-fry until 70% cooked, add the tomatoes and stir-fry briefly, then add salt and soy sauce until the flavor is absorbed, add a little MSG and mix well.

3. Dried Shrimp with Cabbage: Wash the cabbage, cut it into 5 cm square pieces, blanch it in boiling water, remove it immediately after removing the raw smell, soak it in cold water, and put it in a bowl. Soak the dried shrimp in boiling water or Shaoxing wine, put it on the blanched cabbage, add some soy sauce, sugar, vinegar and sesame oil, and mix well.

We should pay attention when buying cabbage. Flat-headed and round-headed cabbages are of good quality. These two varieties have large and firm heads, tender core leaves, high yields, and good taste. In contrast, pointed-headed cabbages are inferior. Among the same type of cabbages, you should choose those with firm heads. The firmer you feel with your hand, the better. Smaller cabbages are better at the same weight. If you buy cut cabbages, pay attention to the freshness of the cuts, the leaves are tight, and they feel very heavy when held in your hand.
