People in my hometown like to pickle radish into dried radish and eat it slowly. Let me tell you how to pickle five-spice dried radish!

Method of pickling spiced dried radish

Ingredients for pickled spiced radish:

Some green radishes (a small amount of carrots as a side dish), salt, balsamic vinegar, sesame oil, chili sauce or chili powder, five-spice powder

Steps for pickling spiced dried radish:

1. Wash the prepared radish and cut it evenly into strips.

2. Let the cut radish air dry or place it in the sun to dry out the moisture after a few days.

3. Put the dried radish in a bowl and add salt to marinate. Rub the radish and salt with your hands until the dried radish is soft. The key is to let the salt penetrate into the dried radish.

4. Add appropriate amount of chili sauce and five-spice powder to the dried radish cooked with salt, and rub it repeatedly.

5. Seal the dried radish that has been prepared with five-spice powder, chili sauce, and salt in an airtight container and place it for about 2 weeks (you can add a little vinegar).

6. When it is time to take it out and eat, add vinegar and sesame oil according to your taste.
