1. Preparation of ingredients for sweet kidney bean porridge

Sweet kidney bean porridge requires half a bowl of glutinous rice, half a bowl of black rice, half a bowl of kidney beans, an appropriate amount of peanuts, a small amount of red beans and walnuts, lotus seeds and red dates, an appropriate amount of coix seeds, and three white fungus.

2. How to make sweet kidney bean porridge

Step 1: Soak the harder-to-cook ingredients such as kidney beans, red beans, white fungus, coix seeds, and red dates in warm water.

Step 2: Wash the unsoaked ingredients, put them into the rice cooker and add water.

Step 3: Press the porridge cooking button to start cooking porridge, and follow the normal procedure. If you don't have a rice cooker, put the ingredients in a casserole and boil it, or simmer it on low heat for half an hour.

Step 4: Cook the porridge in the rice cooker for about half an hour, adjust it to the keep warm setting, and simmer the ingredients.

Step 5: After the ingredients in the pot have been simmered for a while, put the previously soaked ingredients into the rice cooker and continue cooking the porridge.

Step 6: After the porridge is cooked, add sugar to season it.
