1. Wash rice, coix seeds and red dates separately;

2. Soak rice in water for 30 minutes and soak coix seeds in water for 2 hours;

3. Wash and peel the long yam, and cut it into long dices;

4. Put the pot on the fire, add water, rice and barley, bring to a boil over medium heat, then simmer until thick;

5. Add yam cubes and red dates and simmer for about 20 minutes;

6. Add rock sugar into the cooked porridge, stir evenly, and then pour in honey after it cools down a little.
