When making cold lettuce, you need to prepare one or two heads of lettuce, a scallion, a red pepper and a small amount of ginger, as well as seasonings such as light soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, green pepper, and sugar.

Specific steps for making salad

1. Wash the prepared lettuce, then tear it into small pieces with your hands. Wash the prepared green onions, cut them into segments and set aside.

2. Use a small spoon to take two spoons of light soy sauce, four spoons of balsamic vinegar and one spoon of sugar and put them in a bowl. Mix them evenly with chopsticks, then make a sauce for later use.

3. Cut the ginger into shreds, and cut the red pepper into cubes for later use. Put the lettuce in a mixing bowl, put the shredded ginger, green onion segments and chili pepper cubes in it, and then pour the prepared sauce into it.

4. Heat the wok on the fire, then add an appropriate amount of cooking oil. When it is 50% hot, put in a few peppercorns and fry them. After the aroma appears, pour it directly on the vegetables in the pot, mix the vegetables evenly, and serve directly on a plate to make your homemade cold salad.

5. When washing lettuce, it is best to put a small amount of salt in clean water and soak the lettuce to avoid pesticide residues on the lettuce. This will make it safer to eat cold lettuce.
