Celery Leaf Porridge

Yesterday, when I was working in the office, PP called me and said excitedly that the big mall near my home was giving away fried chicken wings for Thanksgiving. He had lined up 4 of them, and they were warm and heavy in my hand. The enthusiastic hawking on the phone made it impossible for me to concentrate on my work, so I packed up the chicken wings and went home to eat them. Yesterday I had braised pork, today I had fried chicken wings, and even so, PP is still skinny.

I've been eating greasy food for two days in a row, so I decided to have porridge tonight.

Celery leaf porridge recipe

1) Pour the leftover rice into cold water and cook. (It is said that porridge cooked with cold water is thicker and tastier than porridge cooked with boiling water)

2) Wash and blanch the celery leaves, soak them in cold water (to keep them green), chop them and set aside

3) When the porridge is ready, add celery leaves, crushed almonds, salt and chicken stock

I usually use this porridge to deal with the leftover vegetables in the refrigerator, haha. A model little housewife, right?

Yesterday was Thanksgiving Day in the United States, and today is Labor Appreciation Day in Japan. Students are busy holding a school festival downstairs. Well, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my parents, relatives, friends, brothers and sisters, and wish you all a happy weekend.

btw, when I was cleaning the pot for cooking braised pork last night, I found a thick layer of black stuff at the bottom of the pot. It seems that my braised pork was not done well. It's not just the meat that's bad, the pot is also a reason.
